Car parking is free; passengers only pay the bus fare.
Most tickets can be purchased from the bus driver and at the staffed supervisors office.  Additionally certain tickets can also be bought online via the bus company’s websites.

Stagecoach, Megabus, Citylink & Park's of Hamilton operate services via Ferrytoll.

Please note that Stagecoach tickets are valid for travel on Stagecoach services only.

Megabus, Citylink & Park’s of Hamilton tickets can be used for travel on journeys operated by all 3 companies.

Stagecoach offer a variety of ticket options to meet your travel needs. 

There is a special day return fare to any of the Edinburgh destinations on Stagecoach Services X53, X54, 55, X55 X57, X58, X59, X60, X61 & X62.

Stagecoach also offer the Edinburgh P&R Megarider which allows unlimited travel between Ferrytoll and Edinburgh.

Airdirect 747

Stagecoach Service 747 offers a direct link between Fife and Edinburgh Airport.
Single tickets, day returns & period return tickets are available.  Full details of the fares are available via the Jet 747 timetable.

You can buy a 'through ticket' to Edinburgh Airport from any Stagecoach bus allowing you to change buses at Ferrytoll. Singles and Period Returns (valid for 28 days) are available. Contact Stagecoach East Scotland for the through fare for your journey.


  1. The special Day Return fare, Edinburgh P&R Megarider and Family Ticket are only available on Stagecoach in Fife Services from Ferrytoll.
  2. An Adult ticket can only be purchased by those aged 16 or over.
  3. A child is classed as aged 5-15 (under 5s travel free at all times if accompanied by an adult).
  4. Under 16 add-on tickets are valid from 9am Monday - Sunday. They are not valid on Jet Service 747.

Citylink Parks of Hamilton megabus

Service M90, M91 & M92 between Ferrytoll and Edinburgh are provided by Scottish Citylink, Parks of Hamilton and Megabus.com.  Information on fares can be found via Citylink or Megabus websites.




Megabus Gold Service S20 provides a sleeper service to London.
Check the megasbusGold website for details on fares and to book your travel.

Important Customer Notice


Ferrytoll Park & Ride Development Works Scheduled to begin Mid July 2016 for approximately 10 weeks


The Bus Turning Circle is to be re-constructed as part of the new bridge works. A larger bus operating area is to be provided, with 3 dedicated bus stances, a new shelter facility and access improvements. To allow this to happen, it is necessary to close off the existing building and turning circle during the works. A temporary bus operating area and waiting area/ toilets/ customer services etc will be relocated to existing car park as shown on the plan below. All vehicles will enter and exit during the works from Hope Street. Fife Council and Transport Scotland apologise for any inconvenience during these works.

Important Notice

7 nights maximum stay


Customers are asked to note that due to the car park regularly approaching capacity it has become necessary to limit the length of overnight parking.  A maximum stay of 7 nights will be in force until further notice and strictly no parking beyond 7 nights will be permitted. 


This policy will be reviewed from time to time and customers are advised to check the web site and site notices regularly for any updates.
